WHO ARE WE?
Canowindra Art Gallery is a not-for-profit organization run by an active group of local artists and volunteers.
Our mission is to raise awareness of art in Canowindra by bringing local artists together, supporting them and promoting their works. Our motto is "Connect and Grow".
We meet Wednesdays and Fridays to pursue our own individual practices and share our knowledge with fellow artists. Newcomers are always welcome - contact us beforehand, or feel free to simply drop in.
We hold regular exhibitions of members' works which are open to the general public.
Where we can we offer mentoring programs for schoolchildren, and also workshops for both aspiring and more experienced artists.
We sincerely thank Cabonne Shire Council for its generous and ongoing support which allows the gallery to to be available for the continuing benefit of for our local artists.
