My favourite is working in water colour. I love landscapes and flowers as I see them in my everyday life.
I love to work in a lot of different mediums, from acrylic paint to resin pours. I love the freedom that the pour provides, and enjoy the organic nature of the creative process.

I love the wonder that the small things in life provide- the everyday things that people walk past, uninterested as their everyday lives crowd out the splendor of the natural word. Working in lead, pencil, charcoal and oils, I bring forward a scene, or the nature's details, stating simply what is in front of me.
"I am an artist", a label I started using but it fitted like a 1960s scratchie woollen jumper I was forced to wear to school. It's taken time but finally I'm comfortable. I failed Lvl 2 Art at High school the theory wasn't why I wanted to do art, I wanted to touch play and create. I wanted to be an art teacher. 10 years ago whilst living in Darwin I started painting and found my love of all things art. Now in regional NSW Canowindra Art Gallery has proven to be a great fit for me and my art.

I have been involved in art since my childhood, and have enjoyed working in soft and oil pastels, oil sticks, mixed media, and acrylic. Line work is something that I intend to play a lot more with, using calligraphy brushes, scratchy marks with tonal variation. Most recently I have been experimenting with various dog paintings as a way of showing emotions that people can neither express themselves, or have not found a way to appreciate.
